Glastonbury Carnival

Glastonbury Guy Fawkes Carnival is one of many illuminated Guy Fawkes carnivals held in the county of Somerset. Floats festooned with bright lights and music pass through the streets with locals dressed in fancy dress.

We secure a street facing dormitory room at the Glastonbury Backpackers, right in the heart of Glastonbury, overlooking the parade route. This allows you to either join in with the crowds on the pavement or get an elevated view and watch the carnival from your bedroom window!

The trip will also give you time to see some of the sights of Glastonbury, including Glastonbury Tor and Glastonbury Abbey as well as a trip to Wells, England's smallest city.
