Welsh 3000's

4 nights - £240.00 (transport to / from London included)

To some, the Welsh 3000's challenge is to summit all 15 summits in Wales over 3000ft in one day! Here at Trident Tours we realise that many would like to complete the challenge in a more realistic time frame. For this reason we have split the challenge into three active days, each one covering the Snowdon range, the Glyder range and the Carneddau range respectively.

Day 1

We leave London at 4pm for the drive to Snowdonia and our accommodation, the Pen-y-Pass hostel. Food will have to be purchased at a services on-route.

Day 2

You will be provided a hearty breakfast and given a packed lunch before starting our route, right outside the hostel door! The day will include the summits of Crib Goch, Garnedd Ugain and Snowdon. In the evening we will visit a local pub for our evening meal and a drink or two before returning to Pen-y-Pass hostel.

Day 3

Again you will be provided breakfast and packed lunch. This day will see you tackle the Glyder range of mountains, namely Elidir Fawr, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach and Tryfan. The day will provide some great photo opportunities as we pass the Cantilever, the Adam and Eve stones and the Cannon. The route ends close to our accommodation for the night, Idwal Cottage hostel. Once checked in it we will visit a pub for our meal and a pint.

Day 4

With breakfast out of the way and lunches packed we will begin our final day's walking on the Carneddau range of mountains. The route covers the remaining 7 summits, Pen Yr Ole Wen, Carnedd Dafydd, Yr Elen, Carnedd Llewelyn, Foel Grach, Garnedd Uchaf and Foel Fras. At the end of your walk you will be met by our vehicle and taken back to Idwal Cottage hostel for a shower before heading out for a pub meal and well earned earned drink.

Day 5

After breakfast, we will pack and leave Idwal Cottage for the drive back to London.
